I went out to water my flower garden and saw a beautiful adult monarch skipping from Zinnia to Zinnia. When I turned on the sprinkles it darted in and out of the spray and came back for more nectar.

It was in beautiful shape and condition, a very healthy looking Monarch. And it's color was exceptional.

I hope their nesting grounds are not affected by the earthquakes in Mexico. Have a safe journey and return to my garden in spring.
