Hummingbird, Nectaring from Flowers

Date: 09/23/2017

Number: 1

Female Ruby-throat at the Mexican Sunflowers and butterfly bush. She flew right past my face. I'm not sure if it's the female that stays late every year or one passing through. I hadn't noticed the regular girl since September 15. It looked like her, but I'm not sure. There has been a little bit of nectar gone from one of the feeders, so she could have been here every day since then. I can't always notice them when they feed from the flowers, unless I'm outside when they are, as well. At any rate, it was a treat to see her and especially feel her presence, as she did a flyby past my face. so cool!
