Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 09/24/2017

Number: 4

Our little hummers were quite active today...as they have been for the past week or two.

They are all on the Turks Caps flowers and at the feeders by the Turks Caps...when they're not trying to chase each other away from the flowers and feeders.

The one hummer is trying to get the other one to find itself another spot to perch...but it didn't work, the one on the fence never left.

It was nice and sunny here in Irving,TX today. Kept seeing 4 hummers in and out of Turks Caps. I can see the one young male...because it's throat feathers have some pretty shiny red on it and it's a tiny hummer compared to the others.
