We couldn't believe it: while taking a long weekend in northern Minnesota, my twin and I spotted a monarch along the edge of a tree-lined road leading to the cabin. Besides a brisk south wind, it faces heavy rains followed by cold temps. within the next few days. Although there's still some nectar plants around, we sure hope it catches a brisk north wind to take it to a Zone 5-6 area soon.
