My third captive reared monarch emerged last night and was ready for flight today - near 90 degrees.

She is a big strong beauty - ready for the long flight to Mexico.

A cool front will be moving into our area in two days - perhaps there will be a north wind too that she and other monarch can use. For nearly a week - it has been unseasonably warm with no breeze or wind.
