With thunderstorms about 10 miles to the west at about 4 in the afternoon, I checked the trees at Eden Cemetery at the edge of Rhodes. Only saw 3 Monarchs in flight, none stopping, though they flitted around the trees before deciding to move on. Wind was still coming from the south.
