Flitting through the garden and taking flight in SW direction over the pines (1 at 12 noon/another 1 at 1:30pm. PLUS, hubby spotted one sipping a clover blossom while he was mowing back field @ 2:30 p.m. We've had an extended summer here in Central Maine and this is the latest I've ever spotted monarchs.
