20 individual monarchs were seen flying along the Lake Huron Shoreline and Highway US23 (2 mile stretch) between M55 and Tawas Beach Road. Decided to drive onto Tawas Point State Park to see if Monarchs would be found roosting on the peninsula. See separate report under "roosts".
