I have seen breeding monarchs in the garden since 8-14-27. Today and yesterday, none was sighted due to heavy rain and cloud cover plus 60 degree weather. Tomorrow is forecast as dry and in the low 70s. I assume I will see them again then after the temperature supports activity. Undoubtedly, they’ll need to refuel after two days of fasting.
