I was volunteering all day outside at my son's school for a fundraiser. I noticed 3 monarchs fly across the parking lot together, headed SW at about 11 am. One flew down into the grass, rested, and then took off again. At 1pm, another monarch flew over the parking lot, also headed SW and flying about 15 feet off the ground.
