Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 09/28/2017

Number: 1

Just as I thought all HBs were gone for the season, two flew in about 6:15-6:30pm Thursday as I was watering the garden. They fought over food and then they were friends! Go figure. It looked as if they were traveling together. They feasted on zinnias, red salvia and one fed from the HB feeder.

10 minutes later a solitary monarch flew in and hung around. I saw him Fri morning as well.
