Monarchs were dropping out of the sky all day. Cannot begin to hazard a guess as to how many. In the thousands, I am sure, between yesterday (9/29) and today. Outside gardening all morning, the buddleia was covered with monarchs coming and going (they never do bother with the goldenrod or lantana in the garden here).
