It was 4:30 pm and he was on the Canna Lilly, but not drinking from the feeder which is just above and off to the side. He was very plump. I noticed the hummers we have seen the past few weeks only feed from the flowers, despite my changingnthe nectar regularly. I hadn't seen a hummer for a week. Will keep feeder up for at least another two weeks now.li also just realized I have been putting my location in wrong. I was a bit too far west on the next court.
