Everywhere we looked today in our garden, there were hummingbirds. We rotate about ten feeders out with ten being washed, putting fresh warm breakfast out in chilly weather before sunrise. Today, the warm 1:3 sugar water was so enticing that I was able to hold a feeder and have hummingbirds eat from it -- even though we never restrict their access to the other feeders for the sake of getting good pictures. One hovered in several spots right in front of my face, and also checked out my husband, who was taking some pictures.
