We awoke to 14 Monarchs 11 am-1pm today! The max had been 5 in the past 5 weeks. They were nectaring mostly on gregg's mist flower and frost weed. There were also ~20 Queens, 20 painted ladies, gulf fritillaries, swallowtails and buckeyes. Beautiful sunny skies, 86 degrees, winds SSE 7 mph.
