At about 2:30 PM today (10/1/2017) I briefly spotted a Monarch butterfly fluttering westward, staying near the south side of the terminal and between 10 and 20 feet above the ramp here at University Park Airport (SCE) in State College, PA. This is similar to reports I’ve filed earlier on 9/10/2017, 9/21/2017, and 9/26/2017.
At the time of this observation it was sunny, the air was mostly calm, with:
