After thousands of Queens, all the time, all summer, I though I had seen the first fall Monarch.

But while it was not a Queen photo shows not a Monarch either. Saw two in different locations. This was the smaller of the two. The other was as large as any Monarch, hanging on a Liatris, Monarchs favorite fall flower. But no camera at the time.
