From approx. 8am to 4:30pm 10-15 monarchs were noted flying south and many landed to rest in the pecan trees. They were noted at altulitudes from ground to approx 150 feet. They ranged in size from small to large and included males and females. Approximately 15 to 60 were noted at various times resting during the daylight hours.
