Newly hatched on our milkweed. We've been avoiding cutting the milkweed for a decade or more and starting saving a big patch near the garden about 5 years ago. Paying off. The most for many years. Five, maybe six, adults tanking up on red, pink and even yellow zinnias.
We've had a light frost. Today 80 degrees but very warm late fall. Time for our friends to head for Mexico.
