There was a lone female ruby-throated on our feeder all fluffed up. When I approached, she did not react. I gently lifted her off the feeder, and as I cupped my hands around her, I could tell she was very cold and tired/weak. No visible injuries. Air temp about 55 with a light breeze. After about 20 min., she finally flew up into a nearby maple tree.
