Green Apple Day Tulip Cohort!

We planted two separate gardens, about 300 yards apart from each other, of 25 tulips each. One garden is in full sun, and one is in partial sun. We're wondering how much the local microclimates at Belwin will affect tulip timing in Spring of 2018.

The Green Apple Day Tulip Cohort is a group of about a dozen schools in Central Minnesota comparing their local microclimates. One wondering we have is whether the urban heat island will cause the tulips planted in the city to emerge & bloom before those planted in the suburbs and ex-urban areas.
