I saw 5 monarchs feed for several hours on my asters. It's possible some left and others joined the group but Ii definitely saw 5 at once with a lone american lady. My yard is a butterfly oasis with many large asters and goldenrod. Also many milkweed that provided a nursery. I'm awaiting a butterfly or two to emerge any day someplace in my yard (I saw a caterpillar right before changing into a chrysalis.)
