This monarch went all over the yard doing an "intense nectaring" kept going for the purple clover, the other tinier flowers were too small to take its weight, thought it was a female, but when it would open its wings it looked like a male...spent a good 25 minutes flitting from flower to flower...wasn't afraid of me or horses...was intent on feeding mostly :) didn't get a photo that was clear enough.
