Signs of Fall

Date: 10/06/2017

Number: 1

about 8am saw a flock of little brown birds that look like brown parakeets or brown yellow finches. They are an even med brown color from head to tail and the wings are multi-colored, darker browns, and whites, like a gold finch. They have the little finch beaks. They are not the local garden variety house sparrows or house finches that we normally see. they have finer features. They love and were feeding on the celosia seeds of bright red and purple plumes/blooms. They must be migrating because I do not normally see these birds, though they look similar to the sparrows and local finches.
