My husband has been seeing this Monarch since Oct. 3 and I just had a chance to get a picture of our Oct. Monarch.
We did have a caterpillar on our one milkweed plant, then the chrysalis but missed the emergence. I was so disappointed. Hopefully, next year will be fortunate to see the emergence. It is a fascinated transformation. The hummingbirds were late leaving this year also. We miss them now that they are gone.
