Sighted two monarchs, one "on the wing" flying southward in downtown Belleville, KS, appx 2 PM, and one female in home butterfly garden, appx 6 PM. Weather mostly overcast thru day, brief 30 min periods of sunshine several times during day, daytime high 71 Deg, slight wind/breeze during daylight hours. (Day concluded with severe storm warnings & heavy rain after sunset thru 11 PM.)
