Monarch Adult Sighted
Sightings report image

Date: 10/02/2017

Number: 1

This female monarch had just emerged from the chrysalis which we found suspended from the needles of a balsam fir. It's late but there are still a lot of butterflies flying on the Bruce Peninsula. With luck they'll make it far enough south to find nectar plants to keep them going.
