Fifteen (15) monarchs in the garden all day mostly nectaring on tropical milkweed (Asclepias curassavica) and blue mistflower (Conoclinium coelestinum and Conoclinium greggii). The wind has been reported in excess of 15 mph from the SSE until very late in the day (around 6:00 pm CT), when it shifted to the north at approximately 20 mph with gusts. The monarchs stayed to nectar until sunset (around 7:05 pm CT), when the last butterfly departed.
