One (1) monarch sighted early this morning before I left the house for the remainder of the day. It had roosted overnight in the red leaf photinia. The temperature is a cool 59 degrees F, and the wind is calm at 6 mph from the West. The sky is clear. I have no doubt this is 1 of the 15 monarchs I reported to Journey North who fed in the garden the entire day yesterday (10-6-17).
