Two adult Monarchs sighted about an hour apart before 9 am. Both flying south one about 20 feet up and the second an hour later about 10 feet up and dropping down to look for flowers. In drought locally so not much available--neighbors to south have a few zinna blooms out still and field has some hardy ageratum, goldenrod and some other wild flowers still present.
Low to mid 60s this am, mostly sunny and very light breezes. Forecast for winds picking up to 10-15 mph from SSE by late afternoon.
