In Elizaville, NY. Have seen Monarch-like butterfly fluttering around the pond near the Elizaville Deli and diner for a few days. Have managed a couple of in-flight pictures yesterday and today, and am pretty sure this is in fact a Monarch, not a Viceroy. I have documented the presence of both over the past month and so one needs to look closely to be sure. Please verify. I'll post another shot taken yesterday.
