Practice Report (Any Species)

Date: 09/08/2017

Number: 1

There have been hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Monarch butterflies flying and lighting on my "butterfly plants" in my garden. I don't know the name of the plant. It has blue flowers. There are all sizes from very small to large. This started in early September, and there are still one or two hundred small Monarchs flying from flower to flower this morning. Perhaps more because not all the plants are visible from by kitchen. Hummingbirds are also plentiful around these plants.
I also saw hundreds of Monarchs, small and some larger, flying around pink flowered plants in Novato, CA on September 28, 2017.
I'm thrilled to see so many of this endangered species !!!!
