Observed 71 monarchs at Rick Evans Grandview Prairie. The day was sunny with temps in the mid 70s to low 80s. Some were flying in a south to southwest direction but most were busy feeding on goldenrod. We were only able to catch and tag 16 because most of them were too far from the road to reach safely.
