One (1) chrysalis was sighted this morning on the back of my porch chair where a number of other chrysalides have successfully metamorphosed and eclosed during previous years. We are hopeful this particular beauty will make it through metamorphosis and eclosion as a healthy, strong and competent flyer. A picture of the chrysalis is attached.
