Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/04/2017

Number: 75

Tagged butterflies with a Science Environmental Group of Middle-school-aged students.

There were many more butterflies in surrounding area, but couldn't count due to the tagging program.

Lots of Seaside Goldenrod in full bloom on the sand dunes located at Crookes Point, Great Kills Park (GATEWAY NRA) with some partially past bloom flowers mixed with flowering, on the same plant.

11 monarchs tagged- I will have to check, but I think they were all females!
