I saw monarch butterfly yesterday around 3pm 10-8-17

The week before last I was in Leland on Lake Michigan and we saw 5 monarchs.

In 2015 we were in Douglas Michigan on Lake Michigan and we happened to see a migration. There was 100,2 if not thousands flying south along the coast. It was truly amazing. It was the 1st or 2nd week of October.

I do believe due to our warmer then normal weather the migration hasn't hit peak yet. I've seen 3 or 4 last week in a nature reserve park in Salem township Michigan.
