Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/08/2017

Number: 100

Yesterday I was invited to a birthday lunch at the Snug Harbor Restaurant on the Port Credit river very close to the shore of Lake Ontario. I saw numerous monarchs flying west as I sat at a window seat looking at the marina and lighthouse. The birthday party started at 12 noon and ended around 3:30. During that time I counted 60 monarchs! When I went outside the restuarant and lingered for an hour with family and friends, I counted 40 more! When the count got to 100 I stopped counting. I was obviously on a migration route. Very glad I got to see so many. My interest in monarchs has increased my belief in God.
