Dear students,

We are all seven and eight years old and are studying monarchs. We care for monarchs by planting lots of flowers in our garden. We also care for them by not spraying the flowers with chemicals that kills bugs.
Many of our students like our mountain habitats. We can see them from our school! We wonder if you have other types of butterflies other than monarchs. Have you seen viceroy butterflies before? Monarchs can fly 2744 kilometers!
We also wonder if you have seen rattlesnakes.

Todos tenemos siete y ocho años y estamos estudiando monarcas. Cuidamos a los monarcas plantando muchas flores en nuestro jardín. También cuidamos de ellos por no pulverizar las flores con productos químicos que mata a los insectos.
Muchos de nuestros estudiantes gustan de nuestros hábitats de montaña. ¡Podemos verlas desde nuestra escuela! Nos preguntamos si usted tiene otros tipos de mariposas que no sean monarcas. ¿Has visto mariposas virreyes antes? ¡Los monarcas pueden volar 2744 kilómetros!
También nos preguntamos si usted ha visto cascabel.
