Dear students,

We are doing everything we can to keep the monarch butterflies safe. For example, it snowed today and the milkweed seed pods gives shelter to monarch butterflies. I hope that you take care of the butterflies and we will send you our class butterfly card too. Please make sure that you have enough shelter and flowers for the monarchs.

Even though the monarchs are beautiful, please don't keep them in a cage; keep them in the forest.
