We have seen this bird off and on for over a week. It is still nectaring and is not using the feeder. Nectaring at the lavender, orange snapdragons and even the red geraniums.
My daughter lives very close to Lake Michigan in Racine (only 14 miles farther northeast) and had SO many hummingbirds in August and first half of September, but no sightings for at least two weeks.
