Favorable winds brought 7 monarchs flying high overhead at our city recreation center in Keller Tx. Only one of them stopped on salvia Greggii. I was able to capture and tag my first monarch of 2017. #XSZ 400.
It's the most I've seen in one day so far, but not as many as I'm used to seeing during peak migration. I expect that to happen in the next few days if winds/ temps are favorable!
