Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/08/2017

Number: 1

The last sighting of ruby throated humming birds was on Sept. 14th after which, we assumed they had left to go South.

Then, to our surprise, we saw the humming bird on Oct. 8th in the evening and several times on Oct 9th. Its possible that there was more than one. On one of the sightings, white tips on the tail were observed (i.e. female).

It has been unusually warm but there were a couple of cold days last week.
