My husband and I hiked the trails at the Tall Grass Prairie Preserve near Pawhuska, Oklahoma today. During our 3.5 hour, 3 mile visit, we spotted 28 monarchs. All butterflies appeared to be searching for nectar sources of which some appeared still available.
