Compared to the last two seasons, monarchs are almost undetectable here during their migration south. Typically fall is when I see the most monarchs here. Last year there were dozens nectaring on marigold and mexican sunflower in my yard for several days straight in early October. I have seen zero adults on my marigolds this year.
