On 10/07 thru 10/09 I had 13 adult Monarch visiting my nectar plants (Mexican Sunflower and Lantana)...they were especially large and healthy looking and were feeding voraciously, getting ready for their trip to Mexico I presume. I have 6 pots of swamp milkweed in pots on my patio and the caterpillars came from those plants and 5 Orange milkweed plants in my yard. It is much colder here today (10/11) and I have not seen amy butterflies today.

I have raised and released 44 Monarch butterflies from this location this Summer/Fall. I have one chrysalis left.
