I stopped by my friend's greenhouse/ live flower seller today as it is still warm here in Massachusetts and saw one very busy monarch feeding on butterfly plant flowers,even a large bumble bee on the same flower did not bother the monarch from feeding. I asked her to tell me when she sees the last monarch of the season and I will post her results when she tells me. There was lots of insect activity on her flower display, butterflies, bees and moths and other small insects just enjoying the day and food.
