For three days I have been looking for fall roost in the morning in a park where I usually observe them every year. Today, for the first time, I observed two monarchs perched, separately, one in each huizache tree. Only two in total for now.
They took flight between 7:30 and 7:40 am. Day partly cloudy, wind at 5 km / hr and south-west, 22ºC.
