Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/15/2017

Number: 44

Began my observations at 9:43 and counted until 12:04. Counted 44 monarchs in that time frame. All migrating before a cold front. Most at one time:5. Front came in at 11:38. At 11:49 is when I saw 5. Between 10:45 and 10: 48 I had 3 per minute.

It's showering .5 miles away in Piedras. But looks like the tiny shower to the NNE of here will miss us on Simpson Dr.

Wind blew all day, but the sun came out and we didn't have any more monarchs looking for roosts in the grove that usually catches them during the evening in past years. Too windy.
