Is there an urban heat island effect on tulip emergence and blooming times? 7 schools distributed among the urban core, suburban and ex-urban areas will plant "Tulip Test Gardens" in collaboration with the Green Apple Day of Service and Journey North. They will compare tulip emergence and blooming times in spring of 2018.
