Just after 5 p.m. I happened to look up to see a Monarch fly around my front yard (faces west) and eventually land at the top of my Crepe Myrtle (just a little bit of sunlight was hitting that area as daylight was fading). Couldn't tell if it was male or female. I was surprised it was flying by as it was rather chilly this morning (51 degrees) and barely in the mid-60s when I saw it. Safe travels!!
